I am very happy to have this chance to comment on this case. I am a Burundian and truly a patriot. I think being a responsible and respected person, one need to be very careful on what he accuse another one. I knew RUKARA since I was very young, and this person to me is a humble person. Let me tell you about this respectful person. May God give him (RUKARA) long life. Ammeen
1. I strongly believe that RUKARA has all qualifications to be Ombudsman, Vice President and even President of Burundi. Why ? Rukara is intellectual, Smart, humble, cooperative, sincere and mostly very good man. In early 1990s, Rukara has sent medicine to Burundi using his own money. The time that even Burundi Government as that time could not provide medicine to its own citizenship. This is one among of million goods he has done to Burundian.
2. Rukara is very kind person ; anyone who needs help from him, his door always is open, you need only to come in. He will solve your problems. But this is only if the problem is solvable.
3. Regarding Sex accusation. Is there anyone in this world does not love women ? How many scandals happened in the USA Government each day ? Burundi authorities, how many of them had been in this game ? You may start from President of Republic to the last citizen. That why when The Farisai wanted to test Jesus on someone who has done that sin , Jesus asked them whoever has never done it may start to through a stone to him. There were none dare to do so. So, stop accusing people on nonsense. This is the same as what they accused Papa Kofi Olomide in France, always people of jalousie will try to ruin your name in any way they can. Remember that “Uwugutuka nta gutorera igitutsi”. “Akutukanae Akuchaguliyi Tusi”.
4. Regarding the amount of money Belgium accusing him, Rukara is a free to do any transaction in any country all over the world. He has his freedom to open Bank account in any country and anywhere as long as he has fulfilled that country is requirements on opening a bank account.
Let ask all Burundian, Is it Burundi independent country ? Does Burundi have its own constitution ?
If you say yes, then where is the protection of Burundi Authorities ? Today is Rukara, but tomorrow will be you, think about it. And If you said Burundi is not Independent yet, so why are we preparing to celebrate 50th Independent Anniversary ?
How can Belgium Government have authority to suspect and condemn a Burundi Government authority as Vice President and ombudsman officer and the Government just do nothing to protect Him ?
You are saying that Rukara is not responsible, can’t take care of his family and how he can take care of Burundian as Ombudsman. Let me ask you, The Burundi Government can’t protect such higher authority as Ombudsman and Vice President, do Burundi Government is able and trusted to protect Burundians ? If yes, why not Rukara ?

How much money President Buyoya investing in Belgium ? How many houses and other commercial activities he owns in Belgium and in other European countries and USA ? Is there anyone questioned him ?
How much S.E President Nkurunziza himself invest abroad especially in Belgium, Europe, and USA ? Does anyone point fingers and question him ?
Military Authorities, how much money they do invest outside Burundi and inside Burundi. Does anyone question them ? You think you don’t know them ? You know them well as Pastor knows his words. Why you don’t question them ?
All our ex-Presidents investment abroad need to be questioned and not only a Muslim who is just an Ombudsman. You must know that all African Presidents have investment abroad especially in Swiss, Belgium, Sweden, France, and USA. Have you ever hear anyone is asked any question at the time of opening a Bank Account ? How many Bank Account S.E President Mobutu had in the world ? Have you ever know when he opened them ? We knew about his bank accounts after he passed away ? Why ?
This is shameful to continent like Europe so called development countries.
Rukara has just followed his colleagues where he can keep his funds secure. How many years Rukara working ? What is 1,300,000.00 euro to Rukara ? This is nothing man. He has much money as you can’t imagine. He is rich in heart and in wealth. How many places he has travelled and has connections in Business and in social life ? This is his Privet life and I don’t think anyone has authority to question him on his own money life. Why Belgium or Burundi constitution never question about how much money he has contributing to this Government and to Burundian in many forms ? Why ? Did anyone think about this ?
Burundian must know that the present Government and its collaborators have a mission to kick off all Muslims who are in the high positions. They started by Honorable Hussein Radjabu, if you remember which position Hussein Radjabu had in Government ? I think you get what I mean. Next, Karenga Ramadhan has been terminated silently. Thank God he is not in Jail. Then, Sheikh Imam killed till today none knows why and the issue closed. They jump to a poor Journalist Ruvakuki who is just a reporter. And now, they start with Honorable Rukara. There are others are in the list but still under care. The Imam has been killed saying that he is UPD. All those respectful and intellectual figures where occupied very good positions in Government and in the heart of their beloved ones. All accusation does not have foundation.
They say Rukara is not qualify as he doesn’t have Diploma, Master Degree, and PHD so that he can qualify to be an Ombudsman and Vice President but have you think before saying this ? What is the qualification of our respectful President Nkurunziza ?
If S.E Nkurunziza qualify why not Rukara ? Rukara is better than Nkurunziza in term of Township (Mtoto Wa Mjini). He has all skills to survive, even in the desert he can manage to live in. Please, I did not say that you have to send him in desert. It is just expression.
They (Nkurunziza and his Allies) might be thinking, may be one day Burundi will have a Muslim President through those who occupied higher position today. So, let us finish one by one. You are wrong, I promise you that very soon ; Burundi will have a Muslim President no matter how much you discriminate them. They have now Muslim Intellectual with much experiences and talents. So, you need just to cool down and cooperate. No more war, now it is talk and let the best Win.
The most important is not language you speak but what you can deliver to people and change their life from worst to better.

In the future we only need Doctors and Professors in those seats, surrounded by some reputable elite !
